David Eastman began his legal career in 1988, with a mid-sized Atlanta law firm whose practice concentrated in corporate and tax planning. Mr. Eastman left that firm to attend New York University to obtain a LL.M degree in taxation. After working in south Florida with Greenberg Traurig in the early 1990’s, Mr. Eastman returned to Atlanta to open his own practice concentrating in estate planning, business planning and estate administration matters, and has been working in a small firm setting ever since. The Eastman Law Firm, P.C. was established in 1993.

Before attending NYU, Mr. Eastman graduated from Emory University in 1985 with a B.B.A. in accounting and from the Emory University School of Law in 1988, with distinction. David Eastman carries the highest rating from Martindale-Hubbell (AV). This rating is given only to those attorneys with the highest legal ability and adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence. David has also been named a Legal Elite in Georgia Trend Magazine on several occasions.

Melissa “Missy” Hills

Melissa “Missy” Hills began working at The Eastman Law Firm, P.C. in 2018. She received her J.D. from Mercer Law School in 1996, and began her legal career working for the Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney. Upon returning to Atlanta, she worked for the DeKalb County Juvenile Court as an Assistant Solicitor. Following her time in the public sector, Melissa moved into private practice. She worked as a residential closing attorney with Origin Title and Escrow, Inc. before joining The Eastman Law Firm, P.C. At The Eastman Law Firm, P.C. Melissa focuses on Probate and Estate Planning along with Business Planning.

Melissa received her undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech in Industrial Engineering and worked for an international packaging company before attending law school. Melissa has served as a board member for CAPN (Community Advance Practice), a non-profit focusing on the medically underserved and neglected.
